Education and Consultative Services (ECS) is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art training to mental health service providers. Utilizing the knowledge and expertise of staff and faculty who are leaders in clinical care and research, we strive to assist providers in achieving and maintaining the highest level of quality standards in the services provided to mental health consumers and family members. We are able to offer in-person events, as well as virtual events.
ECS can assist researchers and clinicians in the planning and management of conferences and events to highlight findings and/or showcase updates in best practice. Another way we can share this information is via live webcasts to clinicians across Pennsylvania, that are then archived for home study, and appropriate for continuing education credits.
We offer continuing education credits for events and conferences, internal to UPMC, as well as to agencies and programs outside of UPMC. Please contact us four weeks in advance if you are interested in providing continuing education credits for any training event you are planning.
